Bluetooth is available with some HP printers as a wireless printing option. Review the following Bluetooth printer compatibility lists, and then set up the connection to start printing.
Bluetooth Smart, or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), is used by the HP Smart app to discover the printer during the setup process. Bluetooth Smart does not enable Bluetooth printing. Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com or from your app store.
Some HP printers have a built-in Bluetooth radio that supports pairing with a computer, mobile phone, or tablet to enable wireless printing.
Turn on the Bluetooth radio on the printer. Depending on the model, press the Bluetooth button , or navigate to the Setup or Network menu to access Bluetooth settings.
Open the Bluetooth settings on the computer or mobile device, and then confirm the feature is turned on.
Select your printer from the list of found devices, or follow any steps to add the printer as a new device.
Open the item you want to print, open the Print menu, and then select your printer to print.

Some HP Deskjet, Officejet, and Photosmart printers released in 2008 and earlier support Bluetooth printing with a separately purchased Bluetooth adapter.
Supported printers and HP Bluetooth adapters, such as the bt300 or bt500, are no longer available for purchase from HP. If you own a supported printer but do not have the adapter, you still might find one through an online auction or retail website.
If you have a compatible adapter, insert it in into the USB or Pictbridge port that is typically on the front or side of the printer. Make sure the HP driver and software is installed (if you are printing from a Windows or Mac computer), and then pair the printer through the Bluetooth settings on the computer or mobile device.
