DESCRIPTION
The HP Command Center might stop working after HP Application Enabling Services is updated to the version listed in the Scope. This issue occurs because the Application Programming Interface access control increases the security of the Application Enabling Services and the HP Command Center. As a result, the HP Command Center cannot communicate with the Application Enabling Services.
note:
Application Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows two applications to communicate.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps to download and install the latest version of HP Command Center from the Microsoft Store:
  1. Right-click the Start button.
  2. Click the Search field, type Microsoft Store, and then press the Enter key.
    The Microsoft Store opens.
  3. On the upper-right corner, click the See more button .
  4. Click Downloads and updates.
  5. Click All owned, and then select HP Command Center.
  6. Click Update.
    Update begins.
  7. After the update completes, restart the computer.
