DESCRIPTION
The computer may seem to stop responding during graphics intensive operations. The screen stops updating so that the computer seems to be unresponsive although it is continuing processing but is not refreshing the desktop.
Normally the computer will resume normal operation (after a few seconds) and display the following message:
Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
Display driver lddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
When this occurs, the above messages is also recorded in the Event Viewer Application logs.
