HP Scanjet 7650N and Axis Print Server 70U - Loses IP Address
Issue:
Axis 70U Document Print server connected to and HP Scanjet 7650N may lose IP address.
Solution
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

Ensure that the network cable and the network port is working. If possible, swap the network cable and the port.

Do a reset to factory default by pressing the reset button on the Axis 70U document Print server and reassign the IP Address.

Make sure it is upgraded to the latest Firmware. Click here to access the latest firmware (http://www.axis.com/ftp/pub_soft/scan_srv/axis70u_2m/1_08_5).
