HP Color LaserJet 2800 AiO Series Products - Remove Fuser Lock Message Appears on the Control Panel

Issue:

Control panel will display the message: Remove Fuser Lock. Printer will not function

Solution

Verify the fuser locks are in the correct locked position.
Verify pressure roller release levers are in the up position.
Reseat the fuser if still having issue after verifying the lock and lever position.

To remove the fuser, complete the following steps.
1. Turn off the device, and then disconnect the power cable.
2. Rotate the locks on the fuser to the unlocked position.

3. Grasp the fuser handle and pull the fuser assembly from the device.
4. Figure : Pull the Fuser assembly
  
  caution:
  
  The parts on the internal surface of the fuser are very hot. To avoid from heat, do not touch those parts.
5. Using both hands, slowly and steadily remove any print media from inside the device. Then, carefully reinsert the fuser and secure the locks.
6. Reconnect the power cable, and then turn on the device.
