HP Designjet EFI Designer Edition RIP - Cannot Convert Color Space Error

Issue:

A problem has occurred during job processing. EFI Designer Edition is unable to convert the image data to the CMYK color space required for printing.

note:
The error messages displayed in the program window are preceded by the word "input," "color," "print" or "port" to indicate at which stage of processing the problem occurred.

Solution

Try resetting EFI Designer Edition. To do this, first exit EFI and then proceed as follows:

Delete all files with the file extension "plist" from the folder Document and Settings, …, Application Data, EFI Designer Edition.
Try to print the job again.
If problems persist, reinstall the EFI Designer Edition software.
