Effective September 9, 2021, HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2021 notebook PCs. The new updates are being made available for download from the HP software and drivers page for the product.
HP Elite Dragonfly G2 and Dragonfly Max Notebook PC System BIOS has the following enhancements added:
This new BIOS release includes new features and bug fixes to HP UEFI BIOS. Due to the new security features being added, this BIOS update will not allow a BIOS rollback (downgrade) after a successful update.
Adds new camera module support.
Behavior change for system battery icon to show 100% instead of 80% when the battery is fully charged to align with industry battery behavior expectations when using F10 setting for 'Maximize My Battery Health'.
Enhancement to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2021-0161, CVE-2021-0164, CVE-2021-0165, CVE-2021-0166, CVE-2021-0168, CVE-2021-0170, CVE-2021-0076, CVE-2021-0176, CVE-2021-0183, CVE-2021-0072.
Extend Power button on Keyboard debounce time from 1 second to 5 second to avoid accidental activation of power button during sanitization mode when using HP Easy Clean.
