HP Slate 21 All-in-One PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Android 4.2/Jelly Bean)

This document applies to HP desktop computers with Android 4.2/Jelly Bean operating system.
This document provides possible solutions to computer startup issues. Follow the steps in this document step-by-step to help isolate the problem and find the most appropriate help.
Step 1: Plug in the computer
Connect the computer to an electrical outlet using the AC adapter and charging cable that came with your computer, and then attempt to turn on the computer again.
Step 2: Find a fix that matches your computer's symptom
Read from the following list of symptoms. If you find a symptom that matches your computer's condition, then follow those instructions. If you cannot find a symptom that matches your computer's condition, then continue to Step 3: Perform a hard reboot.
Step 3: Perform a hard reboot
A hard reboot can resolve many startup issues. Press and hold the power button for more than eight seconds. After the computer fully shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button to turn on the computer.
If the computer does not start, continue with the next step.
Step 4: Contact HP
If the steps in this document have not resolved the startup problem, Contact HP to have your computer serviced.
