HP DesignJet 650C printer - How to Perform an Edge Sense Calibration

Issue:
Performing an Edge Sense calibration to overcome the "Edge not Found" messages and make the printer operational.
Solution
See below:
Switch the plotter OFF and disconnect it from the computer
Press and hold the 'Enter' key and up arrow key
simultaneously while switching the plotter ON again, the following message appears on the display:
STATUS
INITIALIZING
Please wait until the printer completes a section of its initialization and stops its activity. (approx. 30 secs). The display will remain the same
Press the 'Enter' key
Press the up arrow key until the display shows:
FULL MENUS
UTILITIES
Press the 'Enter' key.
Please press the up arrow and 'Enter' key simultaneously, until
the following message appears:
SERVICE TESTS
Cover Sensor
Press the up arrow key until the following message appears:
Press the 'Enter' key.
SERVICE TESTS
Edge Sens Calib.
If there is no media loaded. The printer will display:
Load media and press the 'Enter' key. the display shows
Load Media for
Calibration
The printer will display
CALIBRATING
Press Enter
SUCCESS CALIBRATIION
PRESS ENTER
Switch the plotter OFF, reconnect the computer and switch the printer ON again The printer should now function normally.
