Introduction

HP No. 81 dye ink cartridges and printheads are designed to work with the HP Designjet 5000 series printers to provide the ultimate in photo-quality production printing. Six specially formulated, dye-based ink colors deliver the smoothest color transitions and wide color gamuts. Light cyan and light magenta, along with cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, produce a brilliant range of colors. Additionally, the high-capacity 680 ml ink cartridges are ideal for overnight or unattended production printing.
HP No. 81 dye printheads with built-in smart chips constantly monitor ink cartridge levels and let you know when it's time to replace. In addition, HP No. 81 dye printheads last through two to three ink cartridges, depending on usage.

Maintaining the ink delivery system

The printer automatically performs priming, cleaning, and capping the printheads and cartridges to maintain optimum print quality. Proper use and handling will provide optimum print quality and cartridge and printhead life.

Warranty

Your HP Inkjet cartridge is backed by HP's limited warranty. If the product is defective, contact HP or your retailer before the end of warranty date. HP No. 81 ink cartridges and printheads are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the end of warranty date. The end of warranty date appears on both the cartridge and the printhead in a year, month, day format (YYYY/MM/DD).
