  2. Double-click the HP DeskJet 3700 series icon.
  3. Double-click Set Preferences.
  4. Click the Paper/Quality tab.
  5. In the Paper type drop-down menu, select Plain Paper, and then click OK.

Remove the print driver and software using the Uninstall a program tool in Windows Programs and Features.
  1. Search Windows for programs and features, then click Programs and Features in the list of results.
  2. In the list of installed programs, click your HP printer name, then click Uninstall then Yes.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software removal.
  4. Restart the computer.

Step 3: Reinstall the print driver

After uninstalling the print driver and restarting the computer, download and install the latest version of the full feature software.
  1. Go to 123.hp.com/dj3700 to download the latest print driver.
  2. Install the software according to the instructions on the HP website.
Try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Step 4: Service the printer

Service or replace your HP product if the issue persists after completing all the preceding steps.
