SCOPE
Information in this document applies to the following:
Computers:
  • HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 Notebook PC
  • HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 Tablet
RESOLUTION
The Verizon Wireless Service requires the International Mobile Station Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. To obtain the number, complete the appropriate procedure.
For computers with Microsoft Windows 7, complete the following steps:
  1. Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Security, then click Device Manager under System.
  2. Click the arrow next to Modems.
  3. Right-click the displayed modem.
  4. Click Properties.
  5. Click the Diagnostics tab.
  6. Click Query Modem.

  7. Scroll down to the listed IMEI number.

  8. Use this number to activate the computer via the Verizon Wireless Service.
For computers with Microsoft Windows 8, complete the following steps:
  1. Swipe to open the Charms bar, tap Settings, tap Change PC Settings in the bottom right corner.

  2. Tap Network, tap Provider.


  3. See IMEI under Properties for the IMEI number.
  4. Use this number to activate the computer via the Verizon Wireless Service.
