Los portátiles específicos que se ven afectados por este problema se enumeran en la sección de plataformas de hardware afectadas que aparece en la parte inferior de este documento de asesoramiento.
HP RAID es compatible con las versiones de 32 y 64 bits de los sistemas operativos Microsoft Windows XP Professional (SP1, SP2 o SP3) y Microsoft Windows Vista SP1.
Para obtener un rendimiento óptimo, ambas unidades de disco duro de una configuración RAID deben tener la misma velocidad (por ejemplo, 160 GB a 5400 rpm).
La capacidad de la unidad de disco duro secundaria debe ser igual o mayor que la unidad de disco duro principal.
Por ejemplo:
