13.B2.A1, 13.B2.D1 jam error in tray 1

Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations related to tray 1. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays a message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam.
  • 13.B2.A1 Jam in Right door
  • 13.B2.D1 Jam in Right door
In addition to the instructions provided in this document, you can view the following video of how to clear a paper jam in tray 1:
note:
The printer model referenced in this video might be different from your printer model, but the steps to clear the jam are the same.
  1. If jammed paper is visible in Tray 1, clear the jam by gently pulling the paper straight out. Touch the OK button to clear the message.

  2. If the paper remains stuck, or if no jammed paper is visible in Tray 1, remove any remaining paper in the tray, and then close Tray 1 and open the right door.

  3. If jammed paper is present inside the right door, gently pull it out.

  4. Close the right door.
