HP LaserJet Pro 500 Color MFP M570 - Replace the toner-collection unit

• No special tools are required to install this kit.

note:

The toner-collection unit is designed for a single use. Do not try to empty the toner-collection unit and reuse it. Doing so could cause toner to spill inside the product and result in reduced print quality. For recycling information, see the product user guide.

1. Do the following:
   1. Turn off the product.
   2. Disconnect the power cable.

        warning:

      To avoid damage to the product, turn the product off, wait five seconds, and then remove the power cord before attempting to service the product.

2. Open the front door. Make sure that the door is completely open.
   
3. Grasp the blue label at the top of the toner-collection unit and remove it from the product.
   
4. To prevent toner spills, place the blue cap (callout 1) over the blue opening at the top of the unit (callout 2).

1. Insert the bottom of the replacement unit into the product first and then push the top of the unit until it clicks into place. If the toner-collection unit is installed incorrectly, the front door will not close completely.
   
2. Close the front door.
   
3. Do the following:
   1. Connect the power cable.
   2. Turn on the product.
