DETAILS OF CHANGE
  • Added the option "Require acknowledgment of battery errors" in the F10 BIOS Setup to keep the 601-602 battery error message during POST until the user presses the enter key.
  • Added location, manufacturer, size, and speed for each memory slot in the F10 BIOS Setup.
  • Fixed an issue where the optical drive from a docking station will not be available after the computer has been hot docked.
  • Fixed an issue where the computer would not boot to the operating system with some solid state drives (SSDs).
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where certain optical drives would auto-eject randomly while the Windows operating system is running.
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where the computer would hang when the optical drive eject button was pressed, if the computer was using Windows inbox drivers.

HP recomments installing this BIOS version. After installing this BIOS version, BIOS versions older than F.20 cannot be reinstalled on the computer.
