REASON FOR CHANGE

IMPACT OF CHANGE
This system BIOS update is required for the HP ProBook 6540b Notebook PC and the HP ProBook 6440b Notebook PC, and it is required to support new Intel K-0 stepping processors. HP highly recommends users do not revert back to system BIOS versions F.07 or older. Flashing a BIOS version prior to F.09 after updating the BIOS version to F.09 will cause the system to not boot and will render the system board useless.
