HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press - Threading the substrate
The substrate is threaded through the entire press.

To thread the substrate through the press:
Mount a new substrate roll on the unwinder, as follows:
Lower the lifting arm.
Remove the used substrate roll from the unwinder.
. Deflate the shaft and remove the core.
Install a new substrate roll on the shaft. Ensure that the substrate roll is centered on the shaft.
Inflate the shaft.
Install the new substrate roll on the unwinder. Ensure that the shaft gear points towards the
rear of the unwinder.
Raise the lifting arm.
Manually rotate the substrate roll until the gears mesh.
Thread the substrate through the unwinder. Ensure that the substrate goes beneath the two
clamps. Ensure that the substrate goes behind the web guide sensor.

Thread the substrate through the unwinder bridge.

Thread the substrate through the printing engine.

Thread the substrate through the rewinder. Ensure that the substrate goes beneath the two clamps.

If necessary, thread the substrate through the packer arm.

Ensure that the substrate is threaded correctly through the entire press.
