HP Printers - Photographing Damaged HP Cartridges

This document is for all HP InkJet and LaserJet printers in Latin America.
To fulfill a replacement order, you must provide HP with images of your damaged ink or toner cartridges.
If your order requires replacing more than one ink or toner cartridge, you can put several cartridges in the same image.

Photograph requirements

Photographs of the ink or toner cartridges must meet the following requirements:
  • Take six photos for each ink or toner cartridge, one photo per side.
      Location of the six sides to photograph
    1. Top side
    2. Back side
    3. Right side
    4. Bottom side
    5. Front side
    6. Left side
  • The image format must be .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .doc, and cannot be in a compressed file, such as .zip or .rar. Images cannot be shared via links to a file hosting service such as Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

  • Photographs must be without blur and taken in a well-lit environment.
    The images shown below are only examples of ink and toner cartridges. Ink or toner cartridge color and product number might vary on your printer.
