HP LaserJet Pro, Ultra Printers - Replacing Imaging Drum

This document is for HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a, M130fn, M130fw, M130nw, M132a, M132fn, M132fp, M132fw, M132nw, M132snw, M227d, M227fdn, M227fdw, M227sdn, LaserJet Ultra MFP M134a, M134fn, M230sdn, and M230fdw printers.
The imaging drum helps to finalize the printing process by transferring the image or text to the paper. The imaging drum should be replaced for any of the following reasons:
  • The Attention light blinks, the toner light is on, and Er and 09 alternate on the printer control panel.
  • An Imaging Drum Low or an Imaging Drum Very Low message displays on the printer control panel.
  • Repeated defects appear on printouts at the following intervals:
    • 26 mm (1 in)
    • 94 mm (3.7 in)
