Effective December 05, 2023, HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2021 desktop PCs.
The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.
HP EliteDesk 800 G8 TWR / 800 G8 SFF, HP EliteOne 800 G8 All-in-One, and HP EliteDesk 800 G8 DM System BIOS have the following enhancements added:

Fixes issue when the FUR GUI reports "Incorrect password was entered" when BIOS is flashed with correct password after setting up BEAM and BIOS admin password.

Enhancement to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2023-25756, CVE-2023-22329, and CVE-2023-23583.

Update Intel UEFI Wi-Fi driver to 2.2.24.23283.

Enhancement to enable Display Audio Link in Pre-OS in the BIOS settings.
HP EliteDesk 805 G8 SFF, HP EliteDesk 805 G8 DM, HP ProDesk 405 G8 SFF, and HP ProDesk 405 G8 DM System BIOS have the following enhancements added:

Enhancement to support SMBIOS type1 version string for 'db' addition.

Enhancement to add Android Ready support to BIOS for Windows to Android conversion on Android Ready SKU.

Fixes issue when the Power-On Authentication with fingerprint dows not work.

Update AMD AGESA code to 1.2.0.B.

Enhancement to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2023-20593 and CVE-2023-2056.
