Effective August 22, 2022, HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2020 desktop PCs.

The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.

HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Tower PC/800 G6 Small Form Factor PC has the following enhancements added:

  • Enhancement to update Intel Management Engine firmware to 14.1.65.1990.

  • Added wireless 5 GHz frequency support for Indonesia.

  • Enhancement to improve connection stability while running HP Sure Recover.

  • Fixes an issue when system fails to boot on multiple boot entries with unique description.

  • Enhancement to address the security vulnerabilities CVE-2022-31644, CVE-2022-31645, CVE-2022-31646, CVE-2022-27537.

  • Enhancement to address the security vulnerabilities CVE-2022-31640, CVE-2022-31641, CVE-2022-31642.
