Printer reports provide status information and aid in resolving hardware, ink, and network connectivity problems.

Print a fax test report (fax models only)

The Fax Test Report lists the status of the fax function and steps to troubleshoot the function in case of a fax test failure.

  1. Make sure the printer is on and there is paper in the tray.

  2. On the printer, touch Fax > Setup > Tools.

  3. Touch Run Fax Test.

Print a Network Configuration Page

A Network Configuration Page lists important network settings such as network status and the printer IP address.

  1. Make sure the printer is on and there is paper in the tray.

  2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard.

  3. Touch the Setup icon, and then go to Reports > Network Configuration Page.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page helps identify the source of print quality issues.

  1. Make sure the printer is on and there is paper in the tray.

  2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard.

  3. Touch the Setup icon , and then go to Reports > Print Quality Report.

Print a Printer Status Report

A Printer Status Report lists the printer serial number, estimated ink levels, ink cartridge numbers, printer usage, and connectivity, scan, and fax settings.

  1. Make sure the printer is on and there is paper in the tray.

  2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard.

  3. Touch the Setup icon Setup icon, and then go to Reports > Printer Status Report.

Print a Web Access Test Results page

Print a Web Access Test Results page for information about the printer's wireless connection. The Web Access Test Results page provides information about the printer status, hardware (MAC) address, and the IP address.

  1. Make sure the printer is on and there is paper in the tray.

  2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard.

  3. Touch the Setup icon , and then go to Reports > Web Access Test Report.
