Verify the firmware version of your HP Wide Vision FHD Camera

Use Windows Device Manager to see if you have an impacted HP Wide Vision FHD Camera firmware for the products listed below.
  1. Search Windows for Device Manager, and then click Device Manager in the list of results.
  2. Double-click Cameras.
    If you see the HP Wide Vision FHD Camera for the listed product in this document, continue these steps.
  3. Double-click the HP Wide Vision FHD Camera product.
  4. Select the Details tab.
  5. In the drop-down menu under Property, select Hardware Ids.
  6. Check the firmware version.
    The camera firmware version can be identified by finding REV_#### within the top value string.
    For example, REV_0004 is the version of the firmware for 0004-C051.
  7. If you have an earlier firmware version than what is listed for your product, update the firmware using the link provided in this document.
