Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations related to tray 1. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an error message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam. Paper jams in tray 1 can produce the following error codes:

If jammed paper is visible in Tray 1, clear the jam by gently pulling the paper straight out.Figure : Remove jammed paper from Tray 1

If there are remaining pages still in the printer, instructions on how to clear the remaining pages will display on the control panel.
