SCOPE
All iPAQ H3900 Series Pocket PC's may experience this issue.
RESOLUTION
If you have duplicate items in Start\Settings\Personal\Menu's, you can do the following set of steps that will allow you to remove the duplicate entry:
  1. Make a list of the duplicate items that are in Start\Settings\Personal\Menu's
  2. Open 'File Explorer' (click Start - Programs - File Explorer)
  3. Open the My Device\Windows\Start Menu directory
  4. This directory contains shortcuts to programs that are displayed in the Start Menu. The entries shown here will be listed once even though they are displayed twice in Start\Settings\Personal\Menu's. Referring back to your list created in Step 1, carefully select and delete only the applications that are displayed in duplicate Start\Settings\Personal\Menu's.
  5. Perform a Normal Reset
  6. Open 'Menus' (click Start - Settings - Menus) and verify the applications you want to be shown in the Start Menu has a check mark.
