HP Designjet 30 and 130 Series Printers - Why Does the Printer Take a Long Time Between Prints
Issue:
After finishing a print, the printer hesitates before printing the next print that has been sent to the printer.
Solution
Change the dry time in the printer driver, before sending the print jobs by following the steps below:
-
Access the printer driver preferences or properties (depending on Windows operating environment).
-
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
-
Click Advanced Paper Setttings....Figure : Advanced paper settings option
-
Change the Dry Time setting accordingly.
note:
The lighter the dry time setting, the less time between prints.Figure : Dry Time setting -
Click OK.Printer will adjust the dry time to the setting you have chosen.
Alternatively:
Press the continue button in the printer's front panel to override the dry time setting and force the printer to begin printing the next print job.
note:Be sure to remove the previous print so it does not get damaged.
Cause
Dry time is set automatically to make sure that after a print is complete the consecutive sheet will not damage the existing one.
