HP Digital Sender 9100c - Job Status Log Says "sent" but Client Never Received E-mail

Issue:
When sending e-mail from the Digital Sender the recipient claims the mail was never delivered and the Digital Sender may say sent in the job status log.
Solution
The local mail administrator or ISP needs to make sure they do not reject mail that will be queued for delivery from 7-bit MIME senders. Most SMTP servers allow 8BITMIME in their configuration and allows 7-bit encoded ASCII to pass without issue. Mail message filters can modify message header and alter the delivery of mail or routing to another SMTP MailHost.
