Poly - HP Headset/Product Firmware Updates

Firmware updates are crucial for keeping your device running smoothly. With ongoing technological advancements, these updates fix known bugs and security vulnerabilities, helping to keep your device current and secure.

Follow these steps to update the firmware on your device:

  1. Download and install Poly Lens.

  2. Connect the Poly Device.

  3. Update Firmware.

Step 1 – Download and install Poly Lens.

Download the Poly Lens app Here.

Once downloaded, just follow the on-screen instructions to install.

Step 2 - Connecting the Poly Device.

Steps on how to properly connect your device to your computer.

After Installing the Poly Lens App: Make sure your device is correctly connected to your computer. This helps the Poly Lens app identify your device.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the HP-Poly device connects directly to the computer. Avoid using USB splitters or hubs.

Connect the headset base directly to the computer.

Use the USB cord to connect the device to your computer.

Step 3 - Updating Firmware Poly Lens Desktop app.

Steps to update the firmware on your Poly headset/device using your Poly Lens Desktop app.

After connecting your Poly product to the computer, open the Poly Lens Desktop app and proceed with the following steps:

  • Navigate to the top and click on the Overview option.

  • Below the headset image and information, locate the Update button and click on it.

  • Ensure that the headset remains connectedthroughout the update process. It might take a few minutes to complete.

  • Once the update is finished, you will receive a confirmation message.

Note:

Keep an eye out for any pending firmware updates. You might see a message at the top indicating that an update is available.

Step 3 - Updating Firmware Poly Lens Mobile App

Steps to update the firmware on your Poly headset using your Poly Lens Mobile app.

Poly Lens Mobile App is for Poly-HP Bluetooth Devices Only:

Once your device is powered on and connected to your smartphone, proceed with the following steps:

  • Open the Poly Lens Mobile app.

  • Tap on the three dots next to the headset's image and click on the gear.

  • Scroll down and tap the Software Update option.

  • Ensure that the headset remains on while the update is in progress. It might take a few minutes.

  • You'll receive a message once the update successfully completes.

Note:

Remember, keeping your device on during the update ensures a smooth process and avoids any interruptions.
