HP Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 and Professional 3000 Sheet-feed Scanners - Red flashing light on the control panel

Issue

The scanner displays a red flashing light on the control panel.

Cause

One of the reasons this issue might occur is when the document feeder hatch is not closed properly.

Solution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:
  1. Remove any pages from the document feeder input tray.
  2. Close the document feeder hatch until it snaps into place.
    opmerking:
    Make sure to hear a "click" sound when closing the document feeder hatch. The sound indicates the document feeder hatch is closed properly.
