To remove the hinge door, use your fingers or a flat head screwdriver to pry the cover off.

Lift the hinge door off and away from the computer.

Replace the CD/DVD drive by sliding the drive into the computer.

Align the screw hole at the edge of the drive with the screw hole inside the computer.

Replace the special long screw that secures the CD/DVD drive in the computer.

Replace the screw on the side of the computer.

Next, replace the stand. Find the long slot in the middle of the stand.
