HP Gaming Computers - Driver Updates Block Access to Features in OMEN Gaming Hub

OMEN SDK update failure causes error message.

Description

The following message displays after clicking the Update button on Performance Control, Network Booster, Overclocking, Undervolting, Lighting or Graphics Switcher in OMEN GAMING HUB. The message occurs because of an OMEN SDK (Software Development Kit) update failure.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Store to update OMEN Gaming Hub to the latest version.

  2. Use Windows Update to update your PC with the latest software and drivers including all optional updates (especially all drivers form Intel, AMD, HP, and Realtek), then restart.

  3. Download and install the OMEN Gaming Hub SDK Package directly from here: OMEN Gaming Hub SDK Package

    Note:

    The computer will reboot after the installation, please close all apps before starting.
