Effective May 10, 2022, HP is enhancing the BIOS on HP 2019 notebook PCs.

The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.

  • To optimize battery health and to help mitigate those factors that can accelerate battery degradation, HP is changing the default setting in the HP Battery Health Manager utility to the recommended setting of Maximize My Battery Health.
