HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2019 notebook PCs.
The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.
HP EliteBook 850/840/830 G6, 840 G6 Healthcare Edition Notebook PC, HP Zbook 14u/15u G6 Mobile Workstation, HP EliteBook x360 830 G6 Notebook PC, HP ZHAN X 13 G2 Notebook PC, HP ProBook 650/640 G5 Notebook PC, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G6 Notebook PC, HP EliteBook x360 1030 G4 Notebook PC, HP Elite Dragonfly Notebook PC, HP Elite x2 G4, HP ZBook 17/15 G6 Mobile Workstation, and HP Elitebook 745/735 G6 Notebook PC System BIOS have the following enhancements added:

Enhancement to address security vulnerability CVE-2022-27540.

Fixes a BCU settings issue with 'Restricted Rollback Policy' and 'Minimum BIOS Version'.

Fixes the issue that causes BIOS to restart unlimited if the WiFi iIP4/IP6 bootstore is duplicated.
HP mt45 Mobile Thin Client and HP ProBook 445R/455R G6 System BIOS have the following enhancements added:
