DESCRIPTION
The computer is experiencing performance issues. Downloading and installing Windows Updates may cause the OS to lag, exhibit slowness, or freeze.
note:
This issue does not only affects the computers listed in the Scope, but any computer that is downloading and installing Windows Updates.

The information in this document applies to the following:

RESOLUTION
This is expected behavior. Computer performance may be impacted until the following actions are completed:
Downloading the updates: Windows is in the process of downloading updates. Overall computer performance may be slower until all the updates are downloaded completely.
Installing the updates: Windows is in the process of installing the updates. Overall computer performance may be slower until all updates are installed successfully.
If the computer is experiencing performance issues, it is recommended to download and install all the available updates. The update packages may be large in size, and can impact overall computer performance while downloading and installing the updates.
  1. Click Start, and then select the Settings icon.
  2. Click Update & Security.
  3. Click Windows Update. Windows will check automatically, download and install the updates (if any new updates are available).
