HP PageWide Pro 700 series - Margin shows on the top and bottom of copy output from the ADF

Issue Description

If a user places a letter-size document in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) in landscape orientation (short-edge leading) and chooses to resize the output to A4 (choosing a paper tray loaded with A4 media), the printer will shrink the image leaving a margin at the top and the bottom of the printed output.

Workaround/Solution

The current workaround is to load the letter-size document in portrait orientation (long-edge leading) into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). As an alternative, the letter-size document may be placed on the glass in landscape orientation.
HP plans to address this behavior in a future firmware release.
