HP PageWide Pro 700 series - An error message displays on the front panel during Scan to Network Folder or SharePoint when long file names are used

Issue Description

An error message appears on the front panel display when performing a Scan to Network Folder or a Scan to SharePoint job if the filename exceeds 260 characters. If the user exceeds 260 characters, the front panel displays the following message: “Unable to connect to the network. Check the network, and then try again”
After the OK button is pressed to clear this message, the screen may go blank and the printer may become non-responsive.

Workaround/Solution

If the printer becomes unresponsive, power cycle the printer by unplugging it from the power outlet. This should clear the error state and return the printer to its original home state.
To avoid this error message, limit the filename to 259 characters or less. There are currently no plans to increase the number of allowable characters.
