HP Business Monitors - HP DVI to VGA Cable

The HP DVI to VGA cable (Spare part number: 174611-001) used to connect the DVI-I video output to the VGA monitor input.

Details

In order to connect a VGA monitor to the DVI-I output of the graphics card, the customer needs to first connect the HP DVI-I to VGA adapter (Spare part number: 202997-001) to the DVI-I connector on the graphics card, and then connect the HP VGA to VGA cable from this adapter to the VGA connector on the monitor.
The previous connection setup requires the following two parts:
1. HP DVI-I to VGA adapter (Spare part number: 202997-001)
2. HP VGA to VGA connector cable
However, the customer can make a connection from the VGA monitor to the DVI-I output of the graphics card using only one part, called HP DVI to VGA cable (Spare part number: 174611-001):
