15.52, 15.53 jam error in the heated pressure roller (HPR)

When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an error message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam. Paper jams in the HPR can produce any of the following error codes:
  • 15.52.F0
  • 15.52.FF
  • 15.53.A0
  • 15.53.D0
Follow these steps to clear the paper jam:
  1. Open the left door.

  2. Remove any jammed paper from inside the left door.

  3. Remove the heated pressure roller (HPR).
      warning:
    The HPR might be hot. HP recommends waiting at least five minutes after turning the printer power off before removing the HPR.

  4. Remove any jammed paper from the opening where the HPR was removed.

  5. Reinstall the HPR.

  6. Close the left door.
    Figure : Close the left door
  7. If there are any remaining pages in the printer, instructions on how to clear the remaining pages will display on the control panel.
