DESCRIPTION
The external display image is corrupted when using Citrix in a Windows 10 environment. The issue occurs if the session is in full screen or extend mode.

SCOPE
Information in this document applies to the following:

  • External monitor connected
  • Citrix receiver version 4.10.0 or later
Systems:
  • HP mt44 Mobile Thin Client
Operating Systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 RS1 (Version 1607)
RESOLUTION
Disable DPI in the group policy AND set scaling to 150%.
To configure DPI scaling using the Citrix Receiver Group Policy Object administrative template (administrators only):
  1. Open the Citrix Receiver Group Policy Object administrative template by running gpedit.msc.
  2. If you are applying the policy on a single computer, launch the Citrix Receiver Group Policy Object administrative template from the Start menu.
  3. If you are applying the policy on a domain, launch the Citrix Receiver Group Policy Object administrative template by using the Group Policy management console.
  4. For information about importing the Citrix Receiver for Windows administrative template files into the Group Policy Editor, see Configuring Citrix Receiver for Windows with the Group Policy Object template.
  5. Under the Computer Configuration node, go to Administrative Templates > Citrix Components > Citrix Receiver.
  6. Select the DPI policy.
  7. Change the settings as required.
  8. Click Apply and OK.
  9. From a command line, run the gpupdate /force command.
