HP PCs - Using HP Connected Drive to Store and Share Files (iOS)

Linking a Service (Box, Dropbox, or Facebook)
You can link HP Connected Drive to your existing account with the following cloud service providers, or go to each service and create a new account:
  • Box
  • Dropbox
  • Facebook
When you link your HP Connected Drive and your cloud service accounts, all of your devices using the connected Drive app are able to see your files on that service. You only need to link to your account one time in order to see the content across all of your devices.
  note:
You can link your HP Connected Drive account to only one account on each service. For example, you can link to only one Box account at a time.
  note:
If you have closed the instructions and Connect your cloud providers is missing, tap the Sources button on the bottom app bar, and tap the blue Connect button next to the service you want to add.
The following instructions are for linking a Box account; however, the steps are essentially the same for each service.

Collecting or Downloading files from a remote connected device
With HP Connected Drive, you can download files located on another connected device. Connected Drive retrieves the file from the remote device (downloads) and makes a copy of it on your local device. Connected Drive can also retrieve files located on another connected device (collect) and make a copy of them in your Connected Drive cloud storage.

HP Connected Drive will be discontinued on October 26, 2015. Our recommendation is to use Microsoft OneDrive as a central file service across all your devices. HP strongly encourages you to download any files in your Collection that you want to keep before the Connected Drive service is discontinued.
  note:
To retrieve files from remote devices, make sure that all your connected devices are upgraded to the latest version of the HP Drive app. In addition, the connected device on which you want to access files must be powered on with Connected Drive running in the background.
Use the following steps to download files to the local device.
