Unloading a sheet at the end of a plot

These instructions describe how to set the media type and print quality from the printer’s front panel. Alternatively, they can be set by using the software printer driver, which will override the front-panel settings. The front-panel settings will, however, remain unchanged for use as defaults values.

To set the media type

Press the MEDIA TYPE key until the required light is on.

If Loading a Sheet of.....	Select this Front Panel Light....
Plain paper or printer paper	Plain

Polyester Film	Film
Glossy Photo Paper	Plain and Film

To set the print quality

Press the PRINT QUALITY key until the required light is on.

Best (both)	Lowest	Most	600 x 600 dpi

Loading a sheet

Align the right side of the sheet with the line of holes on the printer.
Push the sheet until it buckles slightly against the media stops.
When the printer starts to pull it in, let go.

Unloading a sheet at the end of a plot

The plot is finished when the Load Media light comes on.

Before unloading a sheet, wait for the ink to dry.
