DETAILS OF CHANGE

Effective September 3, 2019, HP is changing the BIOS configuration on HP Z workstations that come with Windows 10. The new software addition and updates are being made available for download from HP’s support Web site for owners of existing Z2 G4 and Z4 G4 series workstations.

HP Z2 G4 series workstations BIOS 01.05.07 has the following enhancements added:

Improves CPU fan control for systems with Nvidia graphics (Z2 Mini G4 Performance Workstation only).
Updates F10 setting name from "Power on from USB port" to "Allow waking from S4/S5 via keyboard/mouse" since this function enables wake from PS/2 devices in addition to USB.

HP Z4 G4 series workstations BIOS 1.83 has the following enhancements added:

Fixes an issue where system would not boot to non-AMT LAN port or to devices in PCIe slots 2 or 4.
