Advisory: HP Device Manager - Cannot Install HP Device Manager in Windows Server 2016, German Language Environment

DESCRIPTION
Installation of HP Device Manager (HPDM) version 4.7 fails with the following error:
HP Device Manager 4.7 -InstallShield Wizard
Configuration failed. Please check logs and reinstall.
This occurs when installing HPDM to Windows Server 2016 in German Language localization because the German language version of the OS looks for the installation files at a different location that in other languages.

RESOLUTION
Resolve the issue by copying files to the correct location for German language Windows Server 2016:
  1. Copy all files at this location: C:\ProgramData\HP\HP Device Manager to this location: C:\ProgramData\Application Data\HP\HP Device Manager.

  2. Run the installation again.
