HP Solutions Support - Post-Sales Support for Asia Pacific and Japan

This document contains post-sales support and contact information for HP Solutions.
Care Pack Registration
Successful post-sales support begins with Care Pack registration.
Every Software Care Pack and contract purchased is entitled based on a Service Agreement ID (SAID). The SAID is sent to the customer when they purchase a software contract, or after they purchase and register a Software Care Pack. The SAID is the only valid form of entitlement to be used for software support. Using device product and serial numbers is not acceptable.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the Care Packs are registered.
Getting Solution Support
Prior to contacting HP for solution support you should have the following:
  • Solution name (e.g. HP Access Control)
  • Solution version (e.g. 15.2)
  • SAID, or Care Pack proof of purchase or Care Pack proof of registration
Complete the following steps:
  1. Call the country-specific number in the table below.
  2. Inform the agent (or automated voice recognition) that you need support for "Software."
  3. Specify the software name using one of the following:
    • Say, "HP Access Control" (includes HP AC)
    • Say, "JetAdvantage Security Manager" (includes "IPSC", "IP Security Center" and "Security Manager")
    • Say, "Insights"
    • Say, "Secure Print"
    • Say, "Udocx"
    • Say, "HP Capture and Route" (includes HP CR)
    • Say, "Digital Sending Software" (includes DSS)
    • Say, "ePrint Enterprise"
    • For any solution not listed above (e.g. HP Embedded Capture, Troy): Say, "Agent"
  4. Provide the call agent with your information and SAID, if requested.
You will be routed to the Software Support center. If you are denied support due to lack of SAID, ask the agent "Is there a provisional process you can use?" The Provisional process is for customers to receive post-sales support when they have not received a Welcome Kit with their SAID.
