DESCRIPTION
The computer may exhibit one or more of the following symptoms:
  • The click function on the Touchpad may stop responding for up to 15 seconds.
  • The mouse pointer on the screen may appear to freeze for up to 15 seconds.

The information in this document applies to the following:

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow the steps to uninstall the previous version of the Synaptics Mouse Driver
and download and install the following SoftPaq:
  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Choose Control Panel.
  3. Select Programs, then click on Programs and Features.
  4. Choose the Synaptics MouseDriver in the list.
  5. Click on Uninstall.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver.
  7. Restart the computer.
  8. Download and install the following SoftPaq.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
  10. Restart the computer.
