HP Scanjet Enterprise 7000n Document Capture Workstation Series - Event Log Message "40.80.04, Failed to read value from NVRAM"

Issue:
The scanner Event Log contains “40.80.04, Failed to read value from NVRAM” events.
Solution
The following firmware version fixes this issue. All subsequent (newer) versions also contain the fix:
Firmware Datecode: 20120623
Firmware Revision: 2200643_228340
HP Fleet Release Designation: FutureSmart 2 SP1 (CPE 22.1)
Cause
A routine in the scanner’s firmware is trying to read an NVRAM variable that does not apply to scanners, and therefore does not exist.
Summary
Ignore the Event Log entry. The event log entry does not interfere with scanner operation.
