DETAILS OF CHANGE
  • Updated ME firmware version 7.1.0.1142 to fix an issue where the computer intermittently displays an "ME is in Recovery State..." message.
    note:
    This issue ONLY occurs after manually loading Setup Default or Reset BIOS Security to factory default in F10 (BIOS Setup).
  • Added support for a new WWAN module.
  • Fixed an issue where F10 (BIOS Setup) does not show Smart Card Power Options after restarting the computer.
  • Fixed an issue where the computer boots slowly after disabling the modem device in F10 (BIOS Setup).
  • Added support for the SATA 3.0 SSD hard drive.

HP strongly recommends installing this BIOS version. After installing this BIOS version, BIOS versions earlier than F.20 cannot be installed.
