System BIOS Update Version F:09:
- HP has sold and delivered Santa Rosa (AMT 2.5) platforms that have an invalid UUID variable (set to all zeros). This invalid UUID prevents setup and configuration of an AMT system in Enterprise mode. The update implements a fix to modify the default UUID value from zeros to to FFFs, which causes the AMT firmware to ignore a UUID of all zeros and attempts to reread the UUID and set once it is set to a valid value (non-zero value). This update corrects the problem in a factory environment. It does not correct the problem for customers in the field. Customers in the field who are encountering this problem should refer to the Support URL (in this document) for a future AMT 2.5 firmware hotfix.
- Adds a feature that disables the keyboard, Touchpad, and pointing stick when the notebook lid is closed.
- Fixes the problem where the system intermittently hangs when installing from the OSCD in SATA mode.
