HP Designjet CP Series Printers - Area Fill Image Quality

Issue:
Banding, blotches, and/or random patterned patches may appear in the "dense area fills" when using High-Speed print modes.
  note:
When printing solid area fills in some specific colors (most noticeably cyan, blue, and green), some banding or patterning may be detected. This effect is worsened when using coated or heavy-coated stock in normal/productivity mode (four passes print mode).
Solution
Use the native print modes. Printing speed will be slower (more passes will be used), but any banding or patterning in dense area fills should disappear.
When using High-Speed (Varware) print modes, the printer uses fewer passes to print the image compared to the native (non-Varware) print modes. In the majority of the cases the image quality achieved, due to the use of wide-masks, is comparable to the one achieved with the correspondent native print mode.
